The  E-magazine of the  Folklore State  Centre called  "Georgian Folklore" was founded in 2022. Its goal is to widely popularize Georgian traditional art and satisfy the interests of readers who admire folklore. The publication is various  in content and combines the topics like: folk music, chanting, ethnography, fine and applied arts, oral folklore and choreography. We considered it appropriate to introduce the diverse traditional heritage of the world to the readers through the magazine. Communicating with the ethno-cultural world and broadening one's horizons is necessary to better see and understand the role and place of one's own culture, and even to activate creative impulses.

At the first stage, the publication will be available electronically, both in PDF format and on a bilingual website specially created for the magazine, where community interested in folklore will get to know not only the news in the field of folklore, but also the electronic versions of the publications of the Folklore Centre . We hope that the virtual home of the mentioned   magazine will become one of the most desirable and necessary spaces for Georgian and foreign readers interested in traditional art.
