With the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia and the cooperation of the Art and Culture Development Centre of Zugdidi Municipality , the Folklore State Centre carried out the project called “100th anniversary of Polikarpe Khubulava” - dedicated to the prominent Georgian singer and choirmaster .
Head of the project is a scientist Natalia Zumbadze - working at the Anzor Erkomaishvili Folklore State Centre.
Within the framework of the project, bilingual (Georgian and English), audio and video albums were prepared and published. The audio disc contains the recordings of the expeditions conducted in Samegrelo in 2007 and 2014, while the video disc consists the material of the final concert of Polikarpe Khubulava's creative evening (2008) and the “National Folklore Tour-Festival (2005-2006)”.
The presentation of the project was held on July 15, in the village of Jikhashkari, at the international festival named after Polikarpe Khubulava.
