Project “Polyphony: Different Roots, Common Values” continues. Batumi will host African American Week from August 29 to September 9. Dr. Kathy Bullock, professor emeritus of Berea College (Kentucky, USA), and an expert on African-American music, will lead the week. She will be assisted by the Georgian musician and choir conductor Tamar Buadze.
At the end of the week, a concert is planned where the workshop participants will perform in front of the audience.
Participation is free and does not require any special musical education or performing techniques.
