From July 28 to 30, the women’s traditional music ensemble “Ialoni” will travel to Upper Adjara.
As part of the touring expedition, the ensemble will conduct field expeditions with local ethnographers.
On July 28 at 13:00, at the St. John the Theologian Monastery in Sarpi, a Paraklesis (a church service) to the Holy Mother will be performed with full chanting, featuring the participation of ensemble “Ialoni.”
On July 30 at 13:00, a concert of traditional Georgian music will take place at the Khulo Drama Theatre. Alongside ensemble “Ialoni,” local ensembles “Nai,” “Pesvebi,” and “Mareti” will also perform. Attendance is free.
