From 23 to 26 September, the Thirteenth  International Symposium on Traditional Polyphony will be held in Tbilisi. The symposium is organized by the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire, the Conservatoire’s International Research Centre for Traditional Polyphony, and the Anzor Erkomaishvili  Folklore  State Centre of Georgia. The  programme includes academic sessions, concerts, and film screenings. The Thirteenth International Symposium will bring together Georgian and international researchers and artists at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire.

On  September 23 at 19:30, the symposium will be officially opened at the Grand Hall of the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire. The gala concert will feature the University of Chant Choir, Ensemble Lalkhori, and the Folklore Centre Choir. Attendance is free.
