On November 16, at 18:00, the National Library of the Parliament of Georgia will host an event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dimitri Arakishvili, the composer and scientist, founder of Georgian musical folklore, where students and graduates of Giorgi Mtatsmindeli Higher Educational Institution of Ecclesiastical Chant will perform chants and folk songs written by him, also romances will be performed by vocal students of the State Conservatoire. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to view archival documents, manuscripts, photographs, works and papers published in different years of the prominent public figure. Attendance is free.
